What you’ll impact
The AWS Cloud Platform Engineer will support cloud migration, platform operations, and AWS infrastructure provisioning from development through production, focusing on EKS containerization, Terraform automation, and troubleshooting. The role involves collaborating with architects and engineering teams to implement new AWS technologies and support emerging Gen AI workloads.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Support AWS platform operations and infrastructure provisioning
- Manage and troubleshoot EKS-based containerized environments
- Support cloud migrations and new AWS technology implementations
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform
- Troubleshoot AWS networking, security, and infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams across development and production environments
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of strong AWS experience
- 4–5 years of hands-on Amazon EKS experience
- Strong experience with EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS AI services such as Bedrock or SageMaker
- Hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience
- Strong understanding of AWS security controls
- Good knowledge of AWS networking for infrastructure provisioning and troubleshooting
- At least one AWS certification
- Experience working with cloud architects on architecture reviews
- Experience in a regulated industry
