What you’ll impact
The Cybersecurity Architect at our organization will define and maintain security architecture principles, standards, and reference designs across enterprise environments. They will collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, application, data, and product teams to embed security requirements and provide guidance across multiple technology domains. This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL and requires extensive experience in information security.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Define and maintain cybersecurity architecture principles, standards, patterns, and reference designs across enterprise technology environments.
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, application, data, and product teams to embed security requirements into solution design and implementation.
- Review architectures, designs, and technology initiatives to identify security risks, control gaps, and opportunities to improve resilience.
- Provide architectural guidance across cloud, application, network, platform, API, data security, identity, automation, and AI-enabled technology domains.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to security architecture or solution architecture responsibilities.
- 10–12 years of experience in information security or related technology experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity domains such as application security, cloud security, network security, data protection, identity and access management, and infrastructure security.
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
