What you’ll impact
Our company is seeking an ML Engineer or AI Engineer to develop and productionize machine learning and AI systems for its Biological Intelligence Platform. The role involves building, scaling, and evaluating models, including agentic systems and biological foundation models, while operating autonomously. Candidates should have strong ML engineering fundamentals and experience with post‑training techniques, reinforcement learning, data pipelines, or end‑to‑end AI agents.

Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Has strong ML engineering fundamentals and can take systems from idea to production
- Has experience with post-training, SFT, RL, preference optimization, evals, reward models, or data pipelines
- Operates with a high degree of autonomy
- Has scaled AI systems and can take them from idea to production
- Has built agentic systems end to end, planning, tool use, and orchestration
- Has built the benchmarks and evals to know whether any of it actually works
- Has worked with biological foundation models
- Ideally knows biology, although curiosity and the ability to learn quickly matter more
- Wants to leave the world better than they found it
