Summary

What you’ll impact

Sapien is hiring founding engineers to develop hardware for the space resource economy, building and testing machines on Earth and deploying them to the Moon. The role offers high ownership, in‑person work in Los Angeles, and the chance to enable humans to live fulfilling lives in space.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Build a sick machine, test it in the desert, and then put it on the Moon
  • Have high ownership, responsibility, and decision-making freedom
  • Be full-time in-person in the Hawthorne/El Segundo region of Los Angeles, CA
  • Enable humans to choose fulfilling lives in space

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Experience designing & building cutting-edge hardware
  • A degree in engineering or a hard science
  • The ability to obtain authorization to work with ITAR-restricted data (e.g. are a US Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.62)
