SimCare is seeking a Founding Engineer to own major product surfaces end‑to‑end, shaping architecture and engineering culture while building AI‑centric features for students, faculty, and administrators. The role requires high ownership, fast‑paced work across multiple products, and in‑person collaboration in New York City.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- own major surfaces of the product end to end: designing, building, shipping, and operating features used daily by students, faculty, and program administrators.
- work directly with the founders, shape the architecture and engineering culture of the company, and help define how we build with AI agents at the center of our workflow.
- move between products, from our AI avatar simulations to our LMS, field experience, and compliance tools, and you'll ship to production constantly.
- work 5 days a week, in person, and we expect the pace and intensity that comes with an early-stage company at this kind of scale.
- getting on calls with customers or taking on the role of a PM at times.
