What youโll impact
The Member of the Board of Advisors โ Series A Fundraising will provide highโlevel strategic guidance and governanceโminded advice to Healthcare Shares as it expands its venture capital, venture studio, agency, and entrepreneurship community. This flexible, remote advisory role involves advising on strategic priorities, market opportunities, partnerships, investment themes, and founder support, with a commitment of about 2โ4 hours per month.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Provide strategic guidance on Healthcare Sharesโ growth, positioning, partnerships, investment focus, and long-term vision.
- Advise on healthcare market trends, emerging opportunities, startup evaluation, founder support, and social impact strategy.
- Contribute leadership insight across areas such as clinical care, healthcare operations, digital health, biotech, medical devices, pharma, payer/provider strategy, healthcare AI, investing, or entrepreneurship.
- Support Healthcare Shares by offering relevant introductions, perspective, and expertise to strengthen the firmโs ecosystem and portfolio support.
- Participate in periodic board-related discussions and contribute thoughtful recommendations based on your professional background and area of expertise.
Requirements
What youโll bring
- Significant experience in healthcare, medicine, life sciences, venture capital, startups, healthcare operations, digital health, medical devices, biotech, pharma, healthcare AI, or related fields.
- Senior leadership, board, advisory, investing, entrepreneurial, clinical, executive, or operating experience preferred.
- Strong professional network within healthcare, investment, startup, clinical, hospital, payer, provider, pharma, biotech, health technology, or innovation ecosystems.
- Ability to provide strategic, practical, and mission-aligned guidance to support healthcare startups and the broader Healthcare Shares platform.
- Ability to commit approximately 2โ4 hours per month to board participation and strategic advisory activities.
