What you’ll impact
Our organization is seeking a Founding Software Engineer to work directly with the founders in building and scaling an AI-native broker platform for CPG brands. The role involves full ownership of system development from design to production, and shaping the product roadmap based on customer needs.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Own entire systems end to end: scoping, building, testing, deploying, and operating them in production
- Design and ship agent-driven workflows that surface insights and draft real actions across new account prospecting, pricing, trade promotion, retailer coordination, etc.
- Help define the roadmap by deeply understanding what customers actually need
- Write clear, scalable, and performant code across the full stack while maintaining excellent test coverage
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of experience as a full-stack developer who has built and shipped complex products end to end, and can hit the ground running
- High-energy, opinionated, and fun to work with
- Strong product taste and judgment about what to build and what to skip
- You operate well with little explicit direction and figure out answers to ambiguous, complex problems independently

- Strong Fundamentals In:
- Full-stack application development and scalable system design
- Ability to work with modern frontend Javascript frameworks, Python or other similar languages, and Linux command line tools
- Experience using relational databases and ORMs as well as database architecture and modeling
- Data modeling, ETL, and normalizing messy real-world data into clean schemas
- API design and integrations with third-party systems (ERPs, commerce platforms, retailer tools)
- Building and debugging non-deterministic systems — LLM and agent workflows, with attention to observability, evaluation, and reliability
