Summary

What you’ll impact

The Group Product Manager at the organization will lead a small team of product managers while actively contributing to product discovery, specification, and delivery of AI-powered health solutions. This hybrid role combines people management with hands‑on product development across clinical, operational, and patient‑facing tools in a fast‑moving, early‑stage environment.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Manage and grow a team of 1-2 PMs — set direction, review their work, unblock them, and develop their craft
  • Work AI-natively as a baseline habit — use AI daily to draft and refine specs and docs, prototype ideas, speed up research and analysis, and turn meeting notes and stakeholder feedback into eng-ready PRDs
  • Go further where it counts — turn raw feedback directly into structured, backlog-ready items; use AI agents for multi-step work rather than one-off prompts; know when AI output is good enough to ship versus needs a human pass; and help your team get better at all of this too
  • Own a meaningful slice of the product roadmap yourself, spanning clinical/ops tooling, PCP-facing referral tooling, or patient experience depending on where priorities and your strengths line up
  • Run discovery directly with Advocates, clinicians, clinical leadership, and referring PCPs to identify where product is creating friction, eroding trust, or limiting quality of care
  • Translate operational, clinical, and referral-partner workflows into product requirements, balancing clinical nuance, physician expectations, speed, and technical feasibility
  • Partner with engineering and design to scope, sequence, and ship — from first spec through launch and iteration
  • Define and track success metrics tied to real outcomes rather than just feature velocity, for both your own area and your team's
  • Identify where AI can meaningfully reduce manual burden across the business, and lead responsible, well-scoped adoption of those tools
  • Bring structure to ambiguous, fast-changing problems — this is an early-stage environment where process is still being built, not inherited

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • We expect you to work AI-natively every day, and to think AI-natively as a builder of product — with AI-powered tools for patients, clinicians, Ops, and more.
  • Health tech experience required given regulatory, compliance, privacy, and safety considerations
  • Prior experience managing Product Managers (PMs)
  • Comfortable as a player-coach: willing to stay hands-on with discovery, specs, and shipping while also managing a team; this isn't a pure people-management role
  • Experience building internal tools for operational or clinical end users (not just consumer-facing product) is a strong plus — you understand the difference between designing for patients/consumers and designing for the person managing 50 cases a day
  • Comfort working directly with clinicians and operational staff to do discovery and push our care model forward
  • A track record of shipping in ambiguous, fast-moving environments; you build processes, tools, and measurement systems where none exist
  • Comfortable driving alignment across clinical, product, and engineering stakeholders, and creating launch plans that include releases and change management
  • Bonus: prior exposure to behavioral health, care coordination, triage systems, or value-based care models
