What you’ll impact

Data Science Manager leads a team of data scientists and analytics engineers to create insights, models, and strategies that guide the crypto product roadmap. Leveraging Python and SQL in a production analytics setting, the manager builds data pipelines, performs statistical analysis, and develops machine learning solutions for stock tokens, perpetuals, and wallet adoption. Partnering with product, engineering, finance, and research stakeholders, the manager delivers recommendations for international expansion and pro‑trader growth, represents crypto data science in leadership forums, and mentors the team to uphold analytical excellence.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of data scientists and analytics engineers working across product and ML domains
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, finance, and research teams to drive key initiatives such as international expansion, pro trader growth, and wallet app adoption
  • Deliver robust, data-driven recommendations and analyses to shape product direction, with a focus on stock tokens, perpetuals, and blockchain opportunities
  • Foster a culture of excellence in analytics, experimentation, and impact within your team
  • Represent the Data Science function in cross-functional leadership forums and contribute to overall organization strategy
  • Drive high performance by setting clear, focused goals, giving real-time feedback, stretching top talent, and scaling impact through focus, innovation, and technology
  • Hire and retain top talent by setting a high bar, hiring only those who raise it, investing in onboarding, and addressing talent issues quickly and fairly
  • Create community by connecting work to purpose, removing friction while prioritizing safety, building trust and inclusion, and leading from the front with integrity.

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, including at least 2+ years of people management
  • Deep experience with Python and SQL in a production or analytics environment
  • Proven success in product data science roles, with a track record of delivering strategic insights and scalable solutions
  • Strong understanding of the crypto ecosystem, with 3–4 years of direct experience highly preferred
  • Executive presence, influence across teams, and outstanding communication skills
