What you’ll impact
The Application Security Analyst (AI Training) will work with realistic security scenarios to help train frontier AI models in assessing and remediating application risk. The role involves analyzing code, APIs, and system behavior, classifying vulnerabilities, evaluating secure coding practices, and creating security-focused reasoning datasets. It is a remote, hourly contract position with flexible hours.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Analyze real-world application security scenarios spanning code, APIs, and system behavior
- Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, and business logic weaknesses
- Evaluate the quality and correctness of secure coding practices and remediation strategies
- Create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that teach AI how to accurately assess application risk
- Apply your judgment to distinguish genuinely exploitable issues from low-signal theoretical risks
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years of experience in application security, product security, or software security roles
- Strong familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 and common production vulnerabilities
- Able to think like an attacker — you understand real exploitability, not just CVE scores
- Clear, structured written communicator who can explain security reasoning concisely
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
