Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Design and modernize enterprise data models for OLTP and OLAP environments.
- Reverse engineer legacy models and develop future-state architectures.
- Evaluate and recommend GCP database technologies.
- Support data governance and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams on retail data requirements.
- Mentor data modelers and support onsite/offshore delivery.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 8+ years of Data Architecture/Data Modeling experience.
- Strong hands-on Erwin experience with OLTP/OLAP modeling.
- Experience with GCP, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, and DB2.
- Strong SQL, data governance, metadata management, and data management skills.
- Experience reverse engineering and modernizing legacy data models.
- Strong retail domain knowledge and understanding of business processes/data dependencies.
- Knowledge of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and cloud-native architecture.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
