What you’ll impact
The Senior Integration Engineer will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise data integrations, APIs, and ETL solutions using industry-standard integration platforms. This full-time onsite role in Raleigh, NC requires extensive integration engineering experience and hands‑on expertise with integration platforms and related technologies.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Gather technical and business requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
- Design, develop, deploy, and support real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled interfaces.
- Build and maintain APIs, web services, ETL processes, and enterprise integration workflows.
- Develop solutions using IBM IIB/ACE, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Support go-live, post-implementation, production troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Work with REST/SOAP services, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, flat files, databases, and PL/SQL.
- Deploy containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices using Git and related tools.
- Design scalable, secure, highly available cloud and microservices-based solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with technical, business, and testing teams.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Only candidates currently local to Raleigh, NC, or the surrounding commuting area will be considered.
- This is a fully onsite position; all work must be performed at the Raleigh worksite.
- In-person interviews are required.

- Employment will be directly on W-2 with accel bi corporation.

- Seven or more years of professional integration engineering experience.
- Seven years of experience with:
- Data modeling, OLAP design, APIs, and ETL processes.
- Data cleansing, data refreshes, and implementation procedures.
- Building, deploying, managing, and supporting APIs and integration patterns.
- Databases, PL/SQL, and Linux.
- Message queuing, caching, complex mapping, branching, and parallel processing.
- JSON, XML, CSV, and fixed-width file formats.
- Technical troubleshooting and debugging.
- Five or more years of experience with:
- Web services, APIs, and ETL management.
- IBM IIB/ACE, MuleSoft, or Boomi design and development.
- Cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
- Two or more years of hands-on AWS experience.
- Strong programming experience with Java or Python.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
- Knowledge of system integration, enterprise architecture, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git-based version control.
- Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates selected for final consideration must provide two recent professional references from senior managers or directors who directly supervised their work.
