Summary

What you’ll impact

The DevOps Engineer will advance the reliability, scalability, and automation of the organization's cloud DaaS platform by working across CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability, and SRE practices. This role involves hands‑on development, infrastructure management, and technical leadership to improve developer productivity and system resilience.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Contribute to DevOps and SRE initiatives across Horizon Cloud’s global infrastructure
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)
  • Implement observability and logging solutions using Elastic Stack, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Troubleshoot and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments
  • Collaborate with developers to build resilient, self-healing systems
  • Maintain and evolve our Azure-based cloud infrastructure
  • Write clean, maintainable Python code to automate operations and improve developer experience
  • Contribute to infrastructure security efforts including WAF, firewalls, audit logging, and compliance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Propose and drive improvements and new ideas to existing systems

Requirements

What you’ll bring

  • Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Strong knowledge of Azure or other public cloud platforms
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with observability stacks: Elastic Stack (ELK), Prometheus, Grafana
  • Understanding of SRE principles and incident response practices
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across systems, networking, and distributed applications
  • Security-first mindset with experience in infrastructure security and compliance
  • Ability to inspire, mentor and provide technical leadership to team members
  • Ability to identify and driver improvments
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
