What you’ll impact
The Senior QA Engineer designs and executes test strategies to validate new features for iOS, Android, and web applications. They develop automated end‑to‑end test suites with Python or Java using Appium, Selenium, and Playwright, and also create AI‑powered tools to enhance testing efficiency. The role involves manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing, defect tracking in Jira, test case management in TestRail, and close collaboration with product and engineering teams to ensure release quality.
Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Support high-impact product launches by designing test strategies, executing manual and automated testing, and partnering with the contractor team on regression test cycles.
- Own the quality of new features, including test planning, execution, and feedback throughout the development cycle
- Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including both frontend and backend validation
- Perform manual and automated testing, with a focus on end-to-end functionality
- Automate mobile/web E2E test cases
- Build test coverage that accurately reflects the user experience, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience testing mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications in fast-paced product environments
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution. Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, Playwright
- Comfort with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java) and test infrastructure tools
- Familiarity with bug tracking (e.g., Jira) and test case management tools (e.g., TestRail)
- Build AI-powered systems and tools to automate and accelerate Quality Engineering workflows.
- Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset
